Description
A Rasta Man doesn’t have to belong to The Rastafari movement. A Rasta man can be anyone who grows his high long and leaves it to become dreadlocks. A Rasta Woman also makes sense in this modern world. Really then, if someone wants to put on Rastas it doesn’t have to be that they are Rebels or criminals. Thanks God the days the police used to hunt down dreadlocked men and women in Kenya are gone. Dreadlocks are now cool to have.
If you ask me, I wouldn’t care much what one did with their hair as long as they don’t set it on fire. If you don’t like dreadlocks, just don’t put them on. Just don’t go around saying they are from the devil, it is not true.
Shake them up Rasta Man and Rasta Woman. In the modern world, they don’t have to have another meaning apart from HIP! It is an attitude, it is a stance!
