Description
The male Lion without the artist is a work of art itself. Looking at the great beast gives you a sense of awe. If you ever looked at the gape of a lion or heard its roar, then you know what I mean.
The male lion is the King of the jungle. Sometimes I wonder if he really should be the King of the jungle or the Savannah.
Personally, I feel the guy got the name by mistake. Don't you think the elephant should be the king of the jungle? To make it even worse, this majestic fellow doesn't do much work. For food, he has to wait for the females in his pride to hunt; and shamelessly, he gets to take the first bite! Even before the cubs!
Oh yeah, sometimes when he is a bachelor or old, he has to look for food. Old male lions are always kicked out of the pride, eventually, by a younger male. When old, they have to look for very weak animals to kill. Most of the time they have to die of hunger. Such is life.
That said, the male lion is another marvel of creation!

Beautiful Anthony! You are a master of color! LF
Anthony Mwangi replied:
Thanks Malanda. I do love the power of color and the fact that the world could easily have 16 million or more different shades! What or who are we without color?
