Description
One of the many African stories is of buffalo being the one who made Lion a meat eater.
Long ago the Buffalo used to hunt and eat meat, and was the King of the Bush. One day the Buffalo cought lion in his sleep and wanted to eat him. Lion begged for mercy from buffalo and buffalo spared him. From that day, Buffalo was owed a debt by lion. Buffalo made him hunt for him every day as he ate. He bacame fat and lazy over time.
One day the buffalo decided to have lion hunt down all animals one by one so he could have a large choise of wild meat. Lion was already getting too good at hunting and very annoyed with his lazy master. So the Lion said. “You say you want me to get you one animal from all species so you can taste each of them today? Well then I will start with you.” By now lion was so good at hunting buffalo didn’t have a chance.
That evening Lion had a great feast with his family. It took them a week to finish the buffalo. From that day, you will find a pride of lions always planning to drop one of these big fellows.
That is a story that sound so far far fetched. Trust humanity to have a story to explain the beginning of all things. That is why life is full of fun!
The true story is the Lion can be easily killed by a buffalo if it is on its own. Taking down a fully grown buffalo is a hard task for the lion except with the help of other lions.
