Description
I can assure you I am not from this time. Bur I can remember walking behind my mum callying something as we went home or to the market. This is not a new story. Others did it long before us.
This is a story about a certain man who is from the traditional times in Kikuyu land in kenya.
As an agile young man Chege enjoyed occompanying his mother, Njeri, to Magumu market, Naivasha and Jambine where they would sell bananas, sweet potatoes and other farm produce. They took refuge in the homes of forest dwellers during the 3-day trekking journey through the Aberdares. They would bring back various merchandise after selling the bananas. These young fellows were like little warriors. The mother never had anything to fear since the little warrior accampanied her.
You might not connect much with this story, but someone like this must have touched your life somewhat whether directly or through a story told to you by the older folk. Thanks God for great people who were our parents or grandparents. RIP all great people of old. We cherish you in our memories.

What a beautiful description you have written to accompany this well done and creative piece of art. You have given me a glimpse of a world so far unfamiliar to me, and I thank you for that. Making the figures stand out in color and detail from the muted background really works. like/f
