Title
Buffalo and Bird
Artist
Anthony Mwangi
Medium
Painting - Pallet Knife Oil
Description
Symbiosis keeps species that could be lethal enemies together as friends in need. Take for example the relationship between a giant and a small bird. The cape buffalo and the Ox pecker. Ticks and other insects feasting on the buffalo are removed by the ox pecker. Ox peckers leave no crevice untouched, and will even work their ways into their host’s ears to remove insects, earwax and parasites. In addition, the Ox pecker will eat diseased wound tissue, keeping wounds clean as they heal. In the end the buffalo is clean and the ox pecker is fed.

Wonderful knife painting. Texture and color are wonderful and the backstory education is appreciated as well.
