Crazy name for a painting. I just had to come up with it. I have drawn elephants so many times in my life I felt I needed to give them a break in this painting. I have always thought about painting a white elephant. I have tried many times. Why did I fail? Like most artists, I see white as absence of color. I have a natural craving to conquer white! Paint on it. A blank white Canvas is asking for it!

Eventually I was able to paint a white elephant. I planned to upload the painting to my Gallery as it was; white. (of course with a few grey and brawn shades; don't be misled, snow-white things have depth too) When I woke up and looked at it, I couldn't bring myself to upload it just like that, I thought, what if I put some stripes on the elephant? What if I made him look like a Zebra? My very own ZEBRAPHANT!

I am glad I did. I love this one better! Too bad for white elephants. I will try a pink one in the future!
