The Forest metal print by Anthony Mwangi. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
I can't help to imagine a world without trees. That world is coming. I wish to look at the forest today. I wish to see all the great trees before they disappear forever.
It might sound like a joke that trees will go, yet most of what we have today are replanted forests. The original ones are almost all gone in some parts of the world. I pray for the Amazon to stay. We might need to visit in the future to show our children how an indigenous forest looked like.
Today we have Animals in the zoo. Tomorrow we will have trees in a zoo. I pray that day never comes. For by the time the trees get to the zoo, Man will be long gone.

A very lovely painting and a very interesting write-up about the future of trees. Here on Vancouver Island there are still old-growth forests, but this is a rather unique place.
