In my life, I have used many types of colors. Water color, fabric paints, oil color, pastels, acrylics, impasto gouache, spray brush and ink… name it. Out of the many years of testing and playing about, I found out that of all the colors (personal opinion) Oil color is the most forgiving.

You can do almost anything with oil colors. You can make mistakes and correct them as you go. You are not so worried that things will dry too quickly on you. You can remove a whole painting by scrapping it off and starting again on the same canvas! That is how forgiving oil colors are.


One thing I am now sure about is that I am going to use oil colors for a long time to come to paint whatever, however; GOD WILLING.
