The scriptures say that “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.” I was thinking that while I worked on this painting. While some times life can be so miserable, it is good to have some hope. If a cut down tree has hope that it could live again, then humans should have more hope than a tree.
The human being sitting on this stump could have more hope of great things ahead! “Therefore, stop worrying about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
