Description
Boredom is a thing we all go through once in a while. In this period you experience lack of enthusiasm, lack of interest, lack of concern.
Most young people these days are always saying “I am bored to death!”
In my day we didn’t have much time to get bored. You would have so much to do you wouldn’t notice the day ending. In the morning you would go to School, come home and help with washing dishes and cooking. You would be sent up and down to the market, to the shop and to the neighbors to borrow something.
Other times you are out playing home-made ball with your friends, building your own go-cart, fighting a bully, stealing sugarcane, stealing fruits, chasing and running with the dogs and so many other things….
These days young people don’t do much work. They are not easy to entertain. They need expensive stuff. Smart phone, TV, Play Station, Computer games… name it.
Somehow, even with all these gadgets, the modern youth gets soooo booored! I am not a specialist on human psychology, but I think technology, while very helpful has made people very lazy. We simply will die out if we lost our cars, our phones, our computers and TVs.
When I watched the terminator for the first time, I thought the theme about computers taking over the whole world was an overkill; I think it is now happening. The computers have taken over. The WWW is basically the way of life. The WORLD WIDE WEB has taken over. We no longer have control. I hope I am just joking.

So true Anthony, one strong CME and we are back to the Stone Age.

I think we need to go back to stone age at one point. If we can do it without completely destroying the world, it will be a fair start. We might think differently this time. Thanks for the comment
