Artist's Description

Some people are just amazing. There are those who are more famous, and by far than presidents! Think of Spiderman for instance, this guy is so famous he is mentioned thousands of times per day. The strange thing is that these people themselves don’t even know they exist, but they are the most famous imaginary characters of all times. Tintin, captain haddock, Professor Calculus, Bianca Castafiore, Thomson and Thompson, Snowy, just to mention a few. These are fictional comic characters we came to know so well as we grew up. I remember travelling far into the villages to exchange a Tintin Album. I wouldn’t put any down until I was done. Reading it sitting, walking, eating and in bed! Those were the good old days when people used to read! Today, not much.

About Anthony Mwangi

Anthony Mwangi

I am a natural student of art since I was a little child. I have loved drawing all my life. For some time since I left high school, I ventured into Graphic Design and Illustrations for magazines and books. Which really helped me in day to day upkeep. Meanwhile, I would sneak back to my painting canvas every now and then. I have sold quite a number of my Art pieces to various buyers internationally. I am both traditional and Digital Artist. I have been in the field of fine art and illustrations for over 30 years. I started Digital painting in 2007 and I have appreciated the capability to speed up my work due to the incredible color and paint palette you find in Digital Painting Applications like Rabelle, Photoshop, Artrage and Corel...
