Description
Life is an irony, for a lover of beauty, the Zebra is a lovely thing to watch. For a lover of bush meat, not so much. He loves the zebra meat. For a trophy hunter the zebra is a bearer of a trophy head which needs to hung somewhere in some house. The skin is a floor mat. For the Lion though, he could easily die without zebra. Zebra if food for him and his family. Sometimes I wonder why Lions can't just eat straw like bulls. At the end of the day all that meat is made of Grass and vegetation! Just a thought.
The lion just sits around and waits for zebra to harvest the grass and other herbs, then once the zebra stores all the goodies into his system and gets fat off of it, lion comes over to eat. Of course good old zebra will give him a run for his money. Zebra meat doesn't come around knocking doors. You must go after it. Nature is full of mysteries.

A well executed depiction of action on the African savanna, Anthony. You should be proud of this one.

Anthony, your colors in this work are spectacular. What a beauty. I wonder why lions can't just eat straw too...saw this in your description. I love the bits of vibrant colors throughout this image. F/L.
