Description
One of the whimsical ones. Once in a while I do a painting of a woman looking all dramatic.
This one I just had to do. I woke up and thought about the strong spirit of a Mother.
Some of our mothers, like great warriors of this world brought up a family of Boys and Girls Single handedly. They were both Father and mother to their children. They never gave up no matter how hard it was. Some of them bringing up, up to ten children on their own!!
These women were tough, they steered young men into mature adults and taught them how to treat all people well. They guided them like young panther cubs into grown up strong but gentle warriors. Through the dangerous and thick jungles of the world they pressed on.
A lioness surrounded by young and tough male lions is like a queen in the Jungle. She walks behind them holding them by the harness, she lets them walk ahead with their strong paws and jaws wide open. The world must know she exists, she walks behind her security. Who dares to approach?
A strong man without direction is a wounded and dangerous animal. But a young man or woman brought up in discipline is the joy of his mother and father.
It is not your strength and might that will win you the battle, but the gentleness and the kindness of your heart will move mountains.
Thanks to all the great mothers of the world from wherever you are. You are great!!
