OLIVER MTUKUDZI is not just an ordinary Musician to me. This guy I knew personally some time back. In Early 2000 we invited him in the then Organization that I was working in to open up and perform in an Eco Festival in Kenya. I got to know him well during that time. This was his very first time in Kenya and he actually did one song with a Kenyan Artist by the name Eric Wainana during that visit. After that he visited Kenya several times since Kenyans really loved his Music after that first visit to Kenya. I was so devastated when he died in 2019.

Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi was a Zimbabwean musician, businessman, philanthropist, human rights activist and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Southern Africa Region. Tuku was considered to have been Zimbabwe's most renowned and internationally recognized cultural icon of all time.

OLIVER MTUKUDZI, (22 September 1952 – 23 January 2019). This is one guy we will not forget in the near future. A lot has been written about Oliver on www. His great spirit lives on!! RIP TUKU!
