I did this illustration in 2010 to depict the importance of clean water. Most people who have running water in their houses take it for granted. People wash their cars with tap water to mention just one crazy thing... Other people don't even get enough water to bathe! When we were young, we would go to the river in the forest, bathe, Drink and draw some water in a bucket to take home.
These days the clean rivers are almost all gone!
