The elephant is a rather intriguing animal. I can’t go for a whole year without painting one. This creature is just incredible. He has a story too, among many others of course.
“Once upon a time there was a herd of elephants. All of the elephants didn’t have trunks because it wasn’t invented yet, so they looked liked pigs. They also feared the crocodiles in the river and always drunk water very carefully from a distance.
Then one day an adult male elephant who knew no fear came to get a drink at the river. Then a crocodile rose up from the muddy water and grabbed its nose and pulled and pulled then suddenly the crocodile let go of the elephant’s nose. The elephant fell back and realized his trunk was 3m long! …” Yap, that’s how the elephant got its trunk!
